THE ATTITUDE
Noun: anti-heroine [an-tee-'her-oh-in]
1. A female central character in a story, film or drama, who lacks conventional heroic attributes such as idealism, courage or morality.
These characters are usually considered "conspicuously contrary to an archetypical hero" - the one the spectator is supposed to sympathise with.
The anti-heroine establishes her own conventions.
