5PREVIEW PEOPLE | Lisa Pedigrew
The girl who can't get enough of jumpsuits! We wanted to get to know Lisa Pedigrew from Germany a little more so we asked her some questions about where she finds inspiration and she told us her dream project to work on, scroll down and enjoy.
What
are three things you want people to know about you?
A
lot of people who don’t know me personally, don’t know that I am
already a mum. I have a 6 year old son. Leonard is the most
wonderful and most important thing in my life.
Even
though I look rather distant and inapproachable on my Instagram feed
(I rarely laugh on my photos) I’m a very happy and extremely
emotional person in real life.
I
really like chili-cheese fries, REALLY ;)
A
Landrover Defender to travel around the world with my son and
boyfriend…. Oh and I could do with a classic black Chanel handbag
:P
If
you were a painting, what would it look like?
I
would be one of those surrealistic paintings, that most people look
at and never really understand.
I
always wanted to be part of a big charity project. I regularly
support different kind of organizations on a materially basis, yet
never had the chance to actively work for a charity project. That’s
something I will definitely do one day!
Inspiration
is everywhere. On the streets, on other Instagram feeds, in fashion
and art magazines, at exhibitions and in online shops. I’m really
inspired by successful business women who juggle work and their
family and do a fantastic job.
BUT
what inspires me most, is traveling. Seeing different cultures,
meeting new people, visiting galleries and interesting stores.
I
am the most creative after returning from a trip or vacation. I love
going back to work. I’m always super motivated and can’t wait to
transform all my inspirations into action. I am definitely a morning
person and the most creative when me and my coffee cup are all alone
at the office.
- purse, passport, phone: I never leave the house without those things.
- lipstick, lip balm, perfume, blush: in case I need a quick touch-up
- hairspray: I’m officially addicted !!
- chocolate bars or sweets: I can be very grumpy when I’m hungry
- wet wipes: indispensable for playground dates with my little boy
- a notebook/ calendar: I still love writing on paper
"The
woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the
crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places
no one has been before.“
-Albert Einstein.
I
don’t live by a particular motto, but this quote by Albert Einstein
is always nice to keep in mind.
Who
is your role model?
There
are a lot of people worth looking up to. I don’t really take other
people as an example on how to lead my life, but more as a positive
influence on my life. Over the past couple of years I have realized
that there are a lot of people surrounding me, who have a positive
effect on my life and inspire me, each in their own way. However, the
person I admire the most, is my boyfriend (sounds super cheesy, I
know!). He is such a positive and strong person and knows exactly
what he wants in life. He is extremely ambitious, yet always helps
other people out when ever they need him. AND
I always know that he is here to support me in whatever I do.
