SPRING/SUMMER 2013
For the Spring/Summer 2013 collection 5PREVIEW finds inspiration
from a favorite wardrobe full of vintage pieces and washed out, worn, torn,
tones of blue and stripes. The collection has a mature and feminine silhouette
with garments inspired from military clothes and easy, bohemian linen pieces.
The collection is based on a vintage and playful look with multiple
colored stripes in different sizes. With varied allover prints – like the micro
polka-dot-like “Y5L” print and the tonal blue “CITY” print – 5PREVIEW offers a
lot of variation but still maintains the clear blue line that keeps the
collection together.
The silhouette is slender and minimalistic with a sporty edge. Boxy
garments such as shirts, tops and jackets are mixed together with skinny
trousers and vibrant leggings. The suit consists of a fitted blazer with an
asymmetric collar and a pair of high waisted casual trousers. These pieces
comes in a dusty, light, faded out blue with a matching 50s inspired summer
sleeveless shirt to finish the look. The baseball and military jacket are both
unisex and can be effortlessly styled with the rest of the collection. The
dresses and jumpsuits have an aesthetically vintage feel with sweet, feminine
details. Soft sheer materials with a luxurious and exclusive feel characterize the
Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
Fabric mixes such as the silk jersey knits and sheer silk chiffon,
contrast the shiny coated, washed linen textures also featured. This collection
also includes materials in shiny tencel, soft washed cotton gabardine, light
knitted cotton, knitted viscose jacquards and vintage-like striped rayon. There
is a wide range of sporty fleece and a group of deconstructed silk pieces with
raw cut edges.
MENS

The men's collection is based on a both minimalist and classic looks.
Block color combinations in different tones of blue feature strongly amongst
the work wear & military inspired silhouettes. This is our first collection
to include exclusive items for men. Our goal is to provide practical menswear
but keep the essential, subtle, ironic twists that make us 5PREVIEW.
KIDS |
We are proud to present our first ever t-shirt range for kids!
Created for kids aged 2 years to 8 years, this mini collection includes a
selection of our iconic prints as well as the cheeky introduction of an ENFANT
TERRIBLE print.
COLORS AND PRINTS

The name of the collection “Kind of Blues” comes from the ambiance
of a classic Miles Davis album. It makes you think of the past, something
timeless, classic and of course blue! In this summer collection we got inspiration
from the salty windy sea and washed out nautical stripes. This collection
features exclusive all over prints such as the “CITY” print (a hand drawn
version of Nolli’s Rome-map in tonal blue), the digital sea print (that is made
from an old Polaroid), soft blue tencel, dusty blue silks, washed indigo
fleece, a multiple large tonal blue stripe printed on linen. The pop color this
season is a vibrant coral red that shows up in the “SONIA” stripe and on a
fleece sweater.
ACCESSORIES |
5PREVIEW continues to offer a large supply of tote bags in different
sizes. The mini-lunch bag, the medium bag and the large tote bag with a smaller
bag inside. Interesting materials and colors including fleece and tie dye. Some
classics, such as the military bag, BIG BLACK BAG and the wallet is now in new
colors. The sophisticated FLAT BAG will hopefully be a new classic!
Our scarves, again, are an extension of the main collection featuring hand
drawn maps and the classic CAVOUR print. We also present 5 luxurious leather
belts in vintage tones and with a chain detail.
