HIGH FIVE
For
the pre-fall 2015 capsule collection “HIGH FIVE” the shooting was
held in Stockholm's oldest boxing club, it was sweaty and a big
influence to the sporty collection.
Inspired by Jim Jarmusch’s 1999 film ‘Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai’ this collection includes references to martial arts with it’s sporty kimonos and boxing shorts. The hand painted watercolored pigeon prints refer to the relationship Ghost Dog has with the birds while living alone, in simplicity with only the homing pigeons as company. The color scheme is inspired by the grey and bleak urban surroundings of inner city life. It remains black and white with the only glimpses of colors coming from the pigeons feathers and feet.
