TRUE ROMANCE
The
campaign video for the collection “TRUE ROMANCE”. In
it’s usual tongue-in-cheek approach to design 5PREVIEW has focused
on the ridiculousness of some fashion rituals within the industry. It
attempts to de-emphasize the at times bizarre culture of the fashion
VIP. International ‘Fashion Week’. We are bombarded by images of
often monotonous looking fashion shows, with the ‘usual suspects’
occupying the front rows and after parties. This film presents the
idea of a 'ghost' catwalk show with NO VIPs. As we make our way
through the raw, bold and often D-I-Y collection, the audience
appears and disappears... would it really make a difference to
fashion without the VIP's.
